K Job Details Responsibilities:

As a PermanentLitigation Attorney, you will: 1. Represent clients in court orbefore government agencies, presenting evidence to defend orprosecute lawsuits. 2. Manage all phases of the litigation processto include pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement andappeal. 3. Conduct legal research and gather evidence, ensuringthat the law is followed and respected in every case. 4. Draft andprepare a variety of legal documents such as pleadings, briefs,motions, appeals, contracts, and legal memoranda. 5. Advise clientson their legal rights and obligations, helping to navigate thecomplexities of the law. 6. Negotiate settlements to resolvedisputes favorably and expediently. 7. Maintain up-to-dateknowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents,government regulations, and the democratic political process. 8.Develop relationships with clients to ensure a high level of clientsatisfaction.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, youwill need: 1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited lawschool. 2. Admission to the Massachusetts Bar. 3. A minimum of 5years of experience as a practicing attorney, with significantexperience in civil litigation, employment litigation, constructionlitigation, business litigation, and tort litigation. 4.Exceptional legal research and writing skills. 5. A proven trackrecord of managing multiple cases and the ability to perform wellunder pressure. 6. Excellent negotiation, communication, andinterpersonal skills. 7. Strong ethical and professional standards.8. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
