The Tyler Technologies Legal Affairs team has an opening for an attorney who is looking for a fast-paced, challenging and constantly evolving environment. The right candidate will enjoy working on a variety of complex technology contractual and legal issues. Location

Responsibilities
What You Will Do:
Work closely with the General Counsel, Corporate and other Legal Affairs attorneys on a range of corporate transactional matters and agreements with a focus on Tyler’s third-party vendor relationships
Review, negotiate, and draft complex inbound software licensing, cloud computing and IT infrastructure services contracts
Work directly with Tyler’s business teams providing day to day advice and education on legal risks, complex business relationships and compliance topics
Work collaboratively with internal legal and business teams to create standard practices, procedures and agreements for company engagements
Qualifications
What you will bring:
3-5 years of law firm or in-house corporate and transactional generalist experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
software licensing and subscription contracts
mergers, acquisitions and integration management
artificial intelligence laws and policies
copyright and trademark law
digital accessibility compliance
international corporate legal matters
open source license compliance
Pragmatic approach to complex legal issues
Ability to work with cross-functional internal and external stakeholders
Technology background with willingness and energy to learn new areas of expertise
JD degree and license to practice law in any US state
May be required to undergo and satisfactorily pass a fingerprint background check in accordance with CJIS requirements.
