Posted Yesterday Established (25+ Years) National Litigation Defense Firm Seeking Partner-Level Insurance Defense Attorney with Portable Book in Clayton, MO An established national litigation defense firm with over 25 years in business is seeking a Partner-Level Insurance Defense Attorney with a portable book of business of $250,000+ to join their Clayton, MO office. This Attorney will have the opportunity to expand their practice with the support of a national platform, leveraging the firm’s strong reputation, multi-state presence, and collaborative infrastructure to grow their client base and reach. The ideal candidate has experience with general liability, premises, construction defect, professional liability, or other insurance-related litigation matters, and is looking for a long-term home to scale their book of business while maintaining autonomy and flexibility.

Offer:

$160,000 – $200,000+ base salary, contingent on experience and business Origination credit and generous fee-sharing on incoming business Performance-based bonus opportunities Full health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with employer match Hybrid remote schedule

Qualifications:

Portable book of business of at least $250,000 7+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense or related areas Strong relationships with insurance carriers, TPAs, or self-insureds Proven track record of delivering results in high-exposure litigation matters Juris Doctorate and active Missouri Bar license (or ability to waive in)

Responsibilities:

Managing and growing a book of business with support from a national defense platform Handling and supervising all phases of litigation, from intake through trial Mentoring junior attorneys and contributing to firm growth Building relationships with new clients and expanding into multi-state matters Collaborating with partners across offices on cross-jurisdictional litigation strategies For this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
