The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including litigation and prosecution. This role requires excellent legal drafting skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a commitment to providing exceptional legal services to the Board. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for conducting thorough legal research and utilizing resources such as Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy. Responsibilities Negotiate settlements and agreements Prepare cases for administrative hearing or trial by organizing evidence, drafting briefs, and developing case strategies. Collaborate with senior attorney on complex cases to enhance professional development and gain valuable insights. Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the state bar and active license to practice law. Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw or similar platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Three or more years of experience in criminal or administrative law
