In this role, you will besupporting the overall mission of the United States Attorney’sOffice (USAO). If you are looking for a meaningful, mission drivencareer, Join FSA! #AGENT Responsibilities Assists the legal team bytracing, reviewing, and analyzing financial records frominvestigations to determine the source and delivery of funds, andthe nature and volume of transactions. This includes understandingaccount relationships, following criminal proceeds and identifyingassets and funds that meet thresholds and legal requirements forforfeiture. Assists prosecutors in preparing for court proceedingsby developing legal theories for forfeiture and preparing exhibits,charts, and abstracts of the financial evidence. Performs otherduties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPAcertification preferred Three-years accounting, finance, or otherrelated experience Strong organizational and prioritization skills,and ability to work with minimal supervision Excellentcommunication skills; oral and written Intermediate experience withthe Microsoft Office suite of applications (Excel, PowerPoint,Word), and other common software applications and databases,advanced skills are preferred Proven commitment and expertise toprovide excellent customer service; positive and flexible; abilityto multi-task Ability to work in a team environment, deliver thehighest quality of work, and maintain a professional dispositionunder extreme pressure Experience in forensic accounting preferredThis position requires U.S. Citizenship and a 7 (or 10) yearminimum background investigation.
