Associate Attorney Adcock and Ivison,PLLC Ridgeland, MS 39157 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various legal areas, including Insurance Defense and Civil Litigation. Duties File review and legal analysis of claims and cause of action. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations. Collaborate with other attorneys and legal administrative staff to manage case files efficiently. Communicate with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims. Maintain accurate records of all case-related activities and communications. Qualifications Must be currently admitted to practice law in Mississippi. Admission to the state bar association or eligibility for admission. Up to 2-5 years experience in a law office setting. Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear and concise legal documents. Excellent verbal communication skills for effective client interactions and courtroom presentations. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in legal drafting and case management.
