Posted June 13, 2025 Established (25+ Years) Full Service Regional Law Firm Seeking Insurance Defense Associate in Ridgeland, MS An established full service Mississippi-based litigation firm with over 25 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation to join their team near Ridgeland, MS. This attorney should have experience handling matters such as motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and general personal injury defense, and should be comfortable traveling throughout the state for court appearances, depositions, and client meetings.

Qualifications:

1-2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation Experience with motor vehicle, slip and fall, and other general liability matters Juris Doctorate (JD) and active Mississippi Bar membership Ability to travel throughout the state as needed Must be commutable to the Ridgeland area

Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters across Mississippi Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials Prepare and respond to discovery and motions Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts Contribute to case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys For this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
