Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare various business transactional documents including: business acquisition and merger agreements, entity formation documentation, internal corporate agreements, and various business contracts Meet and confer with business owners and managers to advise clients on relevant business law matters including internal business disputes, external business disputes, and participate in contractual negotiations Prepare various estate planning documents to include wills, power of attorneys, and various trusts agreements Assist clients in the estate probate process Attend court proceedings including trials, motion hearings, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and related proceedings related to business, estate planning and estate probate matters Advise clients on business, estate planning, and estate probate matters Minimum Qualifications J.D from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the state of employment Effective time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex legal and business documents Ability to manage several projects simultaneously Ability to work independently and collaborate with others Preferred Skills & Experience
