Job Description
Associate Attorney Law Office of Stephen E. Robertson, PLLC Raleigh-Durham, NC • Remote We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Provide legal advice in various areas of law according to client needs. Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and litigation. Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and other relevant materials. Stay updated on changes in legislation and applicable regulations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and satisfaction. Collaborate with other team members to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients. Handle client matters from intake to finish. Appear for clients in court. Draft pleadings and motions, conduct legal research and writing. Keep all client notes and time entries using Clio software. Take direction from Managing Partner and get along well with staff.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and valid license to practice law in North Carolina. (Required). Strong family law experience. Proficient in the rules of civil procedure and rules of evidence. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Have experience in courtroom advocacy. Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously. Be organized and outgoing, comfortable in the courtroom, has a genuine desire to help others, is tech savvy (or willing to learn). Is in good standing with the North Carolina Bar (Required).
