Salary:

This role involves advising individuals andfamilies on estate planning, trust administration, tax strategies,and wealth preservation. The ideal candidate has strong draftingand analytical skills, a deep understanding of probate and tax law,and a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.
Responsibilities:
Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills,trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives Advise clientson wealth transfer strategies, gift and estate tax issues,charitable planning, and business succession Administer complexestates and trusts, including probate proceedings, asset transfers,and fiduciary duties Represent clients in contested probate andtrust litigation matters, as applicable Maintain clientrelationships and manage matters independently or in collaborationwith team members Stay current with changes in tax law, estateplanning strategies, and relevant state and federal legislation
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and active barmembership in North Carolina 3 years of experience in trust &estates law (more for senior/partner-level roles) Proficiency withestate planning software and tax tools a plus Excellent drafting,communication, and interpersonal skills LL.M. in Taxation preferredbut not required Interested in hearing more?
