This role will help lead Labor and Legalemployment processes, collective bargaining agreement amendmentsand updates, and labor negotiations with the Chief Legal Counsel.

This strategic role will help PSA’s legal and labor departmentbuild continuity and credibility with our key operationalstakeholders in the applicable collectively bargained workgroup.

This is an opportunity to build a more robust Labor and Legaldepartment at PSA.Job Responsibilities Provide prompt, effective, and informed support onlabor-related issues to leadership within multiple corporatedepartments, including direct interaction with senior leaders. Negotiate, implement, interpret, and administer CollectiveBargaining Agreements, including decision-making and using judgmentand discretion for determining when issues should be addressed andwhen they need to be escalated for resolution. Manage disputes and work collaboratively with union leaders andrepresentatives to arrive at appropriate resolutions. Manage the grievance processes with operational departments,responsible for approving third step responses and offeringgrievance resolution options based on individual circumstances andincluding participation in System Board arbitrations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with Unioncounterparts, including in key leadership roles. Research and resolve significant issues arising from contractinterpretation and operational areas requiring coordination withother departments and workgroups, including understanding theimpact at the institutional level. Decision-making and input on overall labor strategy. Evaluate and track labor processes and assess for continuousimprovement opportunities. Review contract language, assist with labor relations, and makerecommendations for changes. Responsible for the Company’s Security and Safety ManagementSystem (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and SafetyAssurance outputs. Perform other duties as assigned.

PositionSpecificsQualifications Bachelor’s degree in field applicable to Labor Relations, orrelated training/experience 5 years of work experience in Labor Relations or operationalsupport roles related to unionized employees Extensive experience in Labor Relations, Collective BargainingAgreements, Arbitrations, and Negotiations with Labor Unions In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations related toemployment Previous experience with a carrier or unionized groups governedunder the Railway Labor Act Ability to draft, interpret, and negotiate contractlanguage Strong understanding of operations and labor Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate consistent strongjudgment Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software Ability to speak/read/write in English If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorizedto work in the USPreferred Aviation industry experience a plus
