JOB SUMMARY KIOTI

Tractor, a leader in the design and manufacture of compact tractors, utility vehicles, turf care, and compact construction equipment, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Corporate Counsel with 3 to 5 years of legal experience in general corporate and business law to join our team in Wendell, NC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of corporate governance, contract negotiation, and business transactions. Prior experience in the manufacturing sector is highly preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB

Provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various business agreements, including dealership, supply, and service contracts. Oversee corporate governance practices and help ensure adherence to best practices. Advise on risk management, including regulatory and compliance issues within the manufacturing industry. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including HR, finance, and operational departments, to mitigate legal risks and ensure alignment with business objectives. Stay updated on relevant legal developments, industry regulations, and trends impacting the business. Provide support in dispute resolution, including pre-litigation and litigation management when necessary. Support other legal functions and special projects as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school. Licensed to practice law in one or more U.S. states. 3 to 5 years of legal experience, with a strong focus on corporate and contract matters. Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail and organization skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
