Attorney Mann McGibney & Jordan Raleigh, NC 27604 Residential real estate law firm in need of fun, witty people whose law license is 3 years old or older. We are a growing firm with offices throughout the Triangle and on the NC Coast. With a strong focus on customer service, our client and agent satisfaction is high. This is the area of law where people are happy to see you! None of us realized real estate closing and advising buyers would be our perfect job, but when you love it, you love it. We are looking for a closing attorney in the Triangle area. You do not need experience in real estate law, but experience in other arenas and a willingness to learn are a must. Candidates with title abstracting experience will be given preference . Attention to detail and commitment to teamwork are also extremely important. Duties Include:
Maintain files to a high degree of accuracy Communicate complex legal matters with buyer-clients, real estate agents and sellers, including being a main point of contact for all files in your name (take/return phone calls and emails) Work cooperatively with large team of supporting paralegals, assistants and other attorneys Review title work and submit to title insurance companies Follow up on and address any issues found on title work Contact seller attorney as needed, review seller documents for accuracy, follow up for receipt of originals as needed Review surveys and communicate with buyers as needed Draft documents necessary to effectuate the transaction correctly and to the buyer’s needs Attend closing appointments and explain & notarize loan documents (tell a few bad jokes) Do final QC review of file and title update Secure funding approval, record Complete any postclosing trailing issues
