Job Description
- Banker, Life Lending
- The Life Lending Banker is responsible for originating, structuring, and managing Life Premium Financing solutions for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) seeking life insurance funding strategies.
This role requires deep knowledge of financial products, life insurance, and lending solutions, as well as the ability to develop strong client and advisor relationships.
- Key Responsibilities and Duties
- + Drives loan growth by acquiring new clients and strengthening existing relationships.
Understands clients’ financial goals to ensure they align with their estate planning, wealth preservation, and insurance strategies. + Mentors Customer Success and support staff in premium financing strategies. + Fosters and sustains relationships with insurance carriers, Life Insurance Professionals (“facilitators”), wealth advisors, tax professionals, and estate planning attorneys. + Protects the bank’s assets and maintains the quality of the portfolio by adhering to lending policies and procedures. Structures premium financing loans, ensuring compliance with risk policies and regulatory guidelines. + Collaborates with credit team to assess credit worthiness and risk exposure. + Negotiates terms with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure competitive and sustainable financing structures. + Conducts valuations of complex assets, including life insurance policies, brokerage accounts, and letters of credit. + Oversees all phases of origination and annual review processing, including model generation, legal documentation, collateral perfection/management, and default/liquidation. + Completes follow-up with facilitators to ensure the requirements for originations and annual reviews are gathered and submitted promptly. + Works closely with the leadership team to enhance offerings and market positioning.
