Contract Attorneys – Deposition Assistance (CA-Licensed) Position Available In Wake, North Carolina

Beacon Hill was founded to set a new standard in search, career placement and flexible staffing. Beacon Hill’s client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking Contract Attorneys to support their Product Liability team (Drug, Device, and Consumer Product focus) with numerous remote depositions.

Location:

Remote (Candidates must be licensed in California and have prior experience handling this type of work in California )

Optional:

Work from the firm’s Century City or San Diego offices a few days per week if desired

Start:

ASAP Duration:

6+ months, with the potential to extend (Concurrent employment not permitted)

Hours:

40 hours per week (must be available during Pacific Time business hours)

Qualifications:

Active California bar license in good standing required 2+ years litigation experience, including deposition and basic pleadings (e.g., answers, demurrers, motions to strike) Relevant experience in product liability, personal injury, or medical malpractice Please note: Candidates whose litigation experience is primarily in workers’ compensation or focused on asbestos-related matters involving pipes and cement will not be considered a fit for this role. Strong working knowledge of federal and state procedural rules Professional, communicative, and able to handle a high degree of autonomy with minimal oversight Highly motivated to be part of an active trial practice, demonstrate initiative, assume responsibility for client matters, and exhibit the interpersonal skills to work well as part of a large, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:
