Position Summary Our Raleigh office has an opportunity for a Senior Of Counsel to join the firm’s dynamic and long-established practice and represent premier local and national employers. This is an excellent opportunity for attorneys who are proactive and passionate about assuming a high level role providing legal service within a sophisticated practice and who are seeking to assume a significant and leading role in all aspects of labor and employment law. This role requires extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies, educational institutions and opposing counsel. Duties include all aspects of corporate labor and employment legal representation, but are not limited to, developing creative ideas and pragmatic solutions for client problems, litigation and trial work, and resolving governmental and workplace investigations. Our office is collegial with a commitment to mutual respect in the workplace. We hold regular all-attorney in-person conferences throughout the country. Requirements Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in North Carolina. During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice; Candidates must possess 8+ years of labor and employment experience; Experience practicing in federal court and supervising other attorneys is required; We expect this attorney to provide excellent written and analytical work and to contribute to a respectful, collegial office environment.
