Salary:

We believe inworking hard to settle cases, when at all possible, but we alsoknow that sometimes you have to take issues to Court.

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone who is diligent,conscientious, thorough, and able to deliver high-quality productsand services to Clients. Ability to work independently and as partof a Team. Our Attorneys must be detail-oriented but also flexible.

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Must be alicensed attorney, in Good Standing, with the State of NorthCarolina. At least 5 years of Family Law Experience stronglypreferred. Experience managing a full caseload. Demonstratedsuccess in representing Clients in Family Law matters. Strongorganizational skills and attention to detail. Time managementskills. Ability to work independently and on a Team.

Responsibilities:

Represent Clients in family law matters,including divorce, equitable distribution, child custody, childsupport and spousal support. Understanding how Clients’ problemsare more than a legal problem to them. Foster positiverelationships with Clients and provide excellent customer service.

Develop a case strategy and provide direction to Paralegals andLegal Assistants. Draft legal documents, including pleadings,motions, and Separation Agreements. Prepare and present cases inCourt. Negotiate settlements when appropriate, includingrepresenting clients in Mediation and Settlement Conferences.

Communicate effectively with Clients, opposing counsel, and theCourt. Stay up-to-date on changes in family law legislation.
