This role will require you to handle a wide range offamily law matters, such as child custody, child support, propertydivision, and more. The ideal candidate will have 5 years ofexperience practicing family law in North Carolina, a small book ofbusiness to bring with them, and a commitment to their clients andethical practices.

Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse caseload offamily law matters, including but not limited to, child custody,child support, and property division. Provide sound legal advice toclients in complex and sensitive situations, ensuring their rightsare protected, and their interests are represented. Draft, review,and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, andagreements. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, andnegotiations. Conduct thorough and detailed investigations togather all necessary facts and evidence for each case. Maintainupdated knowledge of laws, legal articles, and rulings related tofamily law. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients,providing them with regular updates on case progress. Collaboratewith legal support staff and colleagues to ensure efficient casemanagement.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from anaccredited law school. A minimum of 5 years of experience in familylaw. Active member of the North Carolina State Bar in goodstanding. Proven track record of successfully representing clientsin family law matters. Proven trial, negotiation, and litigationskills. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, withthe ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and concisemanner. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
