Responsibilities:

Draft Pleadings, including Complaints, Motions,Discovery Requests, Subpoenas, Orders, and Affidavits, under theguidance of a lawyer Communicate with Clients and other parties toprovide updates and gather information Maintain Client filesSchedule case events, such as hearings, mediations and depositionsFile Pleadings with Court Track and monitor Court filingsCommunicate with Family Court, as needed Interview witnesses Reviewfinancial documents and prepare Financial Affidavits andspreadsheets Trial preparation Involvement with all aspects of aFamily Law case

Qualifications:

Must possess organizational skillsand time-management skills Strong research and writing skillsAttention to detail is critical Someone who is compassionate andunderstanding A Bachelor’s Degree is required Must be a CertifiedParalegal by the North Carolina State Bar Prefer previous FamilyLaw Experience Interested in hearing more?
