We are seeking a dynamic Legal Counsel to join ourSeparation Flow Technologies (SFT) division. Based in ourJanesville, WI office, this role will:

Lead, Draft & Negotiate:

Analyze, draft, and negotiate a high volume of complex sales,purchase, confidentiality, and intellectual property agreementswith customers, vendors, and third parties.

Strategic Advisor:

Counsel SFT Division leadership on legal and regulatory matters,ensuring full alignment with global and regional laws.

RiskManagement:

Develop and implement legal risk strategies tailored toindustry-specific challenges, promoting the long-term success andsustainability of the division.

Training & Enablement:

Providepractical contracts and risk management training to bothoperational and executive GEA employees.

Litigation Oversight:

Manage the SFT Division’s litigation portfolio across North Americaand Australia, including retention and oversight of externalcounsel. Your Profile / Qualifications 7

  • 10 years experience in aconstruction, commercial business setting.
Legal Expertise:

Strongexperience analyzing, redlining, and negotiating complex contracts.

Strategic Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communicationskills, with the ability to translate nuanced legal topics tonon-lawyers.

Organization & Execution:

Proven ability to managecompeting priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively inhigh-paced environments.

Problem-Solving:

Analytical, creativethinker with a solution-oriented mindset and strong attention todetail.

Cultural Fluency:

Comfort working in a global environmentwith an appreciation for diverse business practices and culturaldynamics.

Tech Proficiency:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suiteand common contract management tools.
