SUMMARY A
highly regarded regional law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join its dynamic team. With a strong presence in New England, this full-service firm provides high-quality legal representation to businesses, individuals, and nonprofit organizations across a variety of practice areas.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The successful candidate will handle a diverse litigation caseload, including: Business and commercial litigation Insurance defense Medical malpractice Probate litigation Domestic relations Construction litigation Employment law disputes
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda and pleadings Analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic recommendations Draft and respond to discovery requests Take and defend depositions Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, motion hearings, and trials Collaborate with other attorneys within the firm to develop case strategies
QUALIFICATIONS
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active New Hampshire Bar License (or ability to obtain) 4+ years of litigation experience in a law firm setting Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Excellent judgment, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail Strong work ethic and ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
