TRUST & ESTATE ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
JOB SUMMARY
A well-established Manchester law firm is seeking a skilled Trust & Estate Attorney to join our growing practice. We provide comprehensive estate planning, probate, and trust administration services to individuals, families, and business owners. The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex estate planning matters, trust and estate administration, and related tax issues.
Responsibilities:
Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Handle all aspects of estate and trust administration, including probate filings, asset transfers, tax filings, and fiduciary accountings. Represent clients in probate court proceedings and estate disputes. Draft and review estate planning documents to ensure compliance with state and federal laws. Provide guidance on gift and estate tax issues, charitable giving strategies, and asset protection planning. Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to develop comprehensive wealth management strategies. Stay updated on changes in estate planning laws and tax regulations.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New Hampshire Bar (or eligibility for admission). 3+ years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration. Strong knowledge of New Hampshire probate and tax laws. Excellent drafting, research, and client communication skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
