Job Description:
As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role inour legal team’s success. You will assist attorneys in variouslegal matters including divorce and child custody, conductresearch, and provide administrative support to ensure our clientsreceive the highest quality legal services. This is an excellentopportunity to work in a collaborative and fast-paced legalenvironment while further developing your skills in the legalfield.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct legal research to support casepreparation. Assist attorneys in drafting legal documents,contracts, and pleadings. Organize and maintain legal files anddocumentation. Assist in case management and trial preparation.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel asneeded. Prepare and file legal documents with courts and governmentagencies. Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevantto our practice areas. Perform administrative tasks such asscheduling, filing, and managing attorney calendars.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a relatedfield (preferred). Paralegal certification from an accreditedinstitution (preferred). Proven experience as a Paralegal in a lawfirm or legal department. Strong research and writing skills.
Proficiency in legal research tools and software. Excellentcommunication and organizational skills. Ability to workindependently and as part of a team. High level of attention todetail and accuracy. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations inthe practice area(s) of the firm.
