Salary:

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client seeks an experienced litigationattorney to join their growing practice. The ideal candidate willbring sophisticated experience from either an AmLaw 100 firm orgovernment service (DOJ, US Attorney’s Office, State AG’s Office,or similar). This is an excellent opportunity for a skilledlitigator looking to leverage their experience in a collaborative,sophisticated firm environment with opportunity for growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

J.D. from an accredited law school 5 years oflitigation experience at a major law firm or government agencyActive New Jersey and/or New York bar admission Strong academiccredentials Excellent research, writing, and advocacy skillsDemonstrated ability to manage complex cases Experience with classaction, complex civil litigation, securities, antitrust, orconsumer protection matters preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle allphases of litigation from initial pleadings through discovery,motions practice, trial, and appeal Develop case strategy andexecution plans Draft and argue substantive motions Lead discoveryefforts including document review, depositions, and writtendiscovery Prepare witnesses for testimony Participate in settlementnegotiations and mediations Contribute to business developmentinitiatives Interested in hearing more?
