This entry-level position is ideal for recent law graduates or those with limited experience who are eager to develop their skills in various areas of law. The Junior Attorney will assist in providing legal support, conducting research, and drafting documents while gaining exposure to a diverse range of legal practices, including Environmental Law, Patent Law, Estate Planning, Personal Injury Law, Workers Compensation Law, and Tribal Law Regulations. Responsibilities Conduct legal research using tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis to support case preparation and strategy. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and other relevant paperwork. Assist senior attorneys in case management and client consultations. Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients under the supervision of experienced attorneys. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to assigned cases. Participate in client meetings and court appearances as needed. Collaborate with team members to develop effective legal strategies. Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required. Familiarity with various areas of law such as Environmental Law, Patent Law, Estate Planning, Personal Injury Law, Workers Compensation Law, and Tribal Law Regulations is preferred. Experience using legal research platforms like Westlaw and LexisNexis is advantageous. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
