Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of family law and demonstrate proficiency in legal research and drafting. This role involves supporting attorneys in various family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and estate planning. The successful candidate will be organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively. Responsibilities Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents related to family law cases, including petitions, motions, and discovery requests. Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation. Draft correspondence and legal filings while ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures. Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates on case status, and schedule appointments. Support attorneys during negotiations and court proceedings as needed. Collaborate with other legal professionals on matters involving personal injury law, immigration law, patent law, and estate planning when necessary. Experience Seeking an experienced (minimum of 5 years) New Jersey. Family law experience; all aspects of divorce, domestic violence, custody, support, matters, from start to finish, including the conduct of trials, plenary hearings, TRO trials, and motion practice.

Full-time Pay:

$125,000.00 – $175,000.00 per year
