As a Barclays Prime Service Negotiator Vice President, you willbe responsible for drafting, negotiating, and executing capitalmarkets contract documentation to support the Prime Services andPrime Derivative Services businesses. This is an excitingopportunity to showcase your knowledge drafting, negotiating, andexecuting prime services agreements (including Futures agreements,OTC clearing agreements, and ISDA master agreements), and providingthe highest quality of service to multi-faceted and high-caliberclients. To be successful as a Prime Service Negotiator VicePresident, you should have experience with: The suite of primeservices agreements Drafting, negotiating, and executing of capitalmarkets contract documentation Prime Brokerage, Futures, andrelated financing businesses Some other highly valued skills mayinclude: Futures agreements, OTC clearing agreements, and ISDA/CSAIntermediation agreements (FXPB), repurchase agreements, and stocklending agreements Advising senior stakeholders of the firm withrespect to risk, controls, and legal You may be assessed on the keycritical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk andcontrols, change and transformation, business acumen strategicthinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specifictechnical skills This role is located in Whippany, NJ. MinimumSalary $200,000 Maximum Salary $260,000 The minimum and maximumsalary/rate information above includes only base salary or basehourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation orbenefits that may be available. This position iseligible for an incentive award. Purpose of the role To oversee andmanage transactional processes, ensuring compliance with legal andregulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate documentation forfinancial transactions. Accountabilities To ensure that theTransaction Services and Documentation activities are conducted incompliance with applicable laws and regulations, and to help thebank manage legal and reputational risks associated with theseactivities. Coordination with internal and external stakeholders,including legal counsel, credit risk management, and otherdepartments, to ensure that transactions are executed in a timelyand efficient manner. Creation, review, negotiation and managementof legal documents such as loan agreements, security documents, andother transactional documents, to ensure execution in a timely andefficient manner. Transaction support, including preparation oftransaction summaries, conducting due diligence, and support toother departments as needed. Development and implementation oftransaction processes and procedures to ensure that transactionsare executed consistently. Pro-active identification,communication, and provision of legal advice on applicable laws,rules and regulations (LRRs). Keeping up to date with regards tochanges to LRRs in the relevant coverage area. Ensuring that LRRsare effectively allocated to, and adequately reflected within, therelevant policies, standards and controls. Plan resources, budgets, andpolicies; manage and maintain policies/ processes; delivercontinuous improvements and escalate breaches ofpolicies/procedures If managing a team, they define jobs andresponsibilities, planning for the department’s future needs andoperations, counselling employees on performance and contributingto employee pay decisions/changes.
