Salary:

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Matching 401k,PTO Hybrid-Remote Flexibility (3 days onsite) Job Details Defendgovernment entities, agencies, municipalities, and public employeesin civil rights litigation Handle cases involving Section 1983claims, NJCRA constitutional violations, and government liabilityManage litigation from inception through resolution, includingpleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trialpreparation Draft and respond to motions to dismiss, summaryjudgment motions, and qualified immunity defenses Represent clientsin state and federal court, including appearances at hearings,mediations, and trials Collaborate with government officials, riskmanagers, and co-counsel to develop legal strategies and ensurecompliance with public sector protocols Draft legal opinions andprovide risk assessments for public entity clients This is a greatopportunity for an attorney with prior experience at the AttorneyGeneral’s Office who is looking to transition to private practice

Looking For:

J.D. and licensed to practice in New Jersey Minimum of2 years of civil rights litigation experience Prior experience atthe Attorney General’s Office (current or former Deputy AttorneyGeneral preferred but not required) Familiarity with Section 1983litigation, NJCRA, qualified immunity, and governmental immunitiesExperience representing or working with public entities,municipalities, or state agencies Interested in hearing more?
