Location:
Rochester, Buffalo, or Albany, NY (Remote arrangements considered on a case-by-case basis)
About the
Opportunity:
A highly respected firm seeks a mid-to-senior level Employee Benefits Attorney with 4-10 years of experience to join its Rochester, Buffalo, or Albany office. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic legal team and make a significant impact in Employee Benefits law.
Key Responsibilities:
Advising on all areas of Employee Benefits, including ERISA compliance and the design, establishment, maintenance, and operation of retirement, welfare, and fringe benefit plans.
Assisting clients with compliance under federal and state employee benefits laws and regulations.
Providing strategic counsel on employee benefits issues during mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
Drafting plan documents, policies, and procedures to meet legal and operational requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience:
Minimum of 4-10 years practicing Employee Benefits law.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of ERISA and other relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a client-focused environment.
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice law in New York, with a strong academic background.
