Rivkin Radler LLP is seeking an associate to join our transactional practice to join our Uniondale, Long Island or NYC office.

Responsibilities:

Represent mid-market business in transactional and governance matters. Provide support on corporate and real estate matters to partners and senior associates. Counsel clients on entity formation and corporate governance. Manage due diligence. Draft resolutions. Draft ancillary documents for M & A transactions. Preparation and review of distribution, manufacturing, technology and other agreements. Draft joint ventures, LLC operating agreements, corporate shareholder agreements.

Requirements:

JD required; JD/MBA preferred. High level of academic achievement. Able to exercise good judgement, prioritize effectively and maintain perspective in complex situations. Able to work independently and leverage resources. •

Skills:

Understanding of general business operations. Strong analytical and inter-personal skills. Ability to solve complex problems with creative solutions through independent research and analysis. Proficient in prioritizing tasks and communicating commitments. Ability to perform in a highly collaborative team environment and build relationships with clients and partners. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
