Job Description
The NYC Office of a premiere asset management firm is looking for a Legal Analyst to be an integral part of a small busy legal team. This is a great opportunity for legal support professionals with the relevant experience needed to be part of a fast growing environment and an organization that promotes the personal and professional growth of their employees.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation, negotiation, execution and record keeping of legal documentation, including vendor agreements, investment-related agreements, non-disclosure agreements, corporate governance materials, and fund offering documentsWork closely with the Head of Legal to develop and manage new processesAssist with the management and execution of strategic projects as the firm continues to globally expandWork independently to liaise with other departments including compliance, operations, investor relations, finance, and human resourcesAd hoc projects
Requirements/Qualifications:
Must be open to 5 days in officeBachelor’s Degree required; JD and/or MBA also preferred, but not a MUSTOvertime when needed
AT LEAST 3
years of experience as: a Corporate Paralegal at a large law firm and/or a Paralegal at a hedge fund, asset management firm or investment management firmMust have experience drafting, editing, finalizing and all other tasks related to corporate legal documents and commercial contracts If you are qualified, interested and looking to learn more about this position, please send either an MS Word or PDF version of your resume.
