Job Description
Managing Attorney — Immigration Confidential New York, NY Nationwide immigration law firm dedicated to zealously advocating for the rights of undocumented Latino/a immigrants is seeking a highly experienced and motived managing immigration attorney. Our law firm routinely handles complex immigration issues through the use of humanitarian visas and family-based petitions to help our client’s get out of the shadows and be put on a pathway to lawful permanent residency. In addition, our firm also focuses on PERM matters.
Who you are:
1. You have a minimum of 7-15 years of experience working in the field of immigration law and have substantial experience with VAWA, the T Visa, the U Visa, family-based petitions and removal defense. Strong preference for persons with a background in PERM. 2. You are client-centric and believe that attorneys should be zealous in nature and you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and use the law to help your client achieve the best result possible. 3. You are ambitious and have worked hard for your achievements and are looking for growth opportunities. 4. You can work independently, without the need to be micro-managed, and can competently execute by investigation issues, researching case law and facts, and asking the right questions to be properly set up. 5. You enjoy being a leader and have managed paralegals and other professionals previously and understand that you cannot run a successful, high volume legal practice alone.
What You will do:
1. Oversee and manage the production of cases by junior attorneys and paralegals on a timely manner 2. Respond timely to messages regarding client matters and ensure that clients are communicated with on a timely basis 3. Train and motivate junior attorneys and paralegals 4. Ensure that RFEs are timely answered too and oversee the submission of RFEs 5. Research and write briefs, prepare clients for USCIS interviews and court hearings 6. Handle complex legal issues that arise 7. Interface with clients when necessary
Requirements:
1. Must have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in immigration law 2. Preference for bilingual candidates (English/Spanish)

Full-time Pay:
$250,000.00 – $450,000.00 per year
