This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious lawyers to join a growing, competitive law firm with a diversified global practice. Candidates should have a strong litigation background and familiarity with marine insurance coverage issues. The annualized salary range for this role is contingent upon level of experience, practice group, location and other job-related factors permitted by law. Required experience 2-5 years’ litigation experience, preferably involving maritime disputes, or alternatively, an attorney with a marine background or education Experience analyzing marine insurance policies and other relevant contracts Ability to interact with clients, draft pleadings and discovery demands, conduct depositions, perform legal research and draft dispositive motions Proven and solid courtroom experience, conferences and handling appeals Excellent research, writing and communication skills Substantive familiarity with the rules and procedures of the New York Courts is a must Must be licensed to practice in New York Licensed to practice in New Jersey a plus Attorney compensation ranges from $125,000 to $220,000 annually. Salary is contingent upon level of experience, practice group, location and other job-related factors permitted by law.
