We are seeking an experienced Matrimonial Litigator to represent clients in family law cases, focusing on divorce, child custody, and related matters.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and negotiation, with the ability to advocate effectively for clients in court and during mediation. Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in divorce and family law proceedings
Conduct legal research and prepare necessary documentation
Negotiate settlement agreements on behalf of clients
Prepare for trial, including drafting motions and legal briefs
Advocate for clients in court appearances
Assist clients with child custody and support issues
Engage in mediation sessions to resolve disputes
Maintain effective communication with clients throughout the process
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law and litigation
Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
Experience with child custody and divorce cases
Proficient in legal research and drafting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases
