The firm has offices in Washington, D.C., New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Orange County, London, and Brussels. Job Summary Crowell & Moring LLP seeks a highly qualified Professional Track Associate or Counsel to join its Patents practice group, working from the New York, NY office. This is a full-time, professional (non-promotion) track attorney position. Qualifications Candidates must have 5 to 10 years of patent law experience (including Patent Agent experience). A bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Sciences, or Physics is required and a Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a similar field is a plus. All qualified candidates must have a valid USPTO Registration number, be able to efficiently manage a busy patent prosecution docket, and have excellent academic and professional credentials as well as highly developed writing and analytical skills. Law firm experience is preferred, as is experience in drafting and prosecuting Telecommunications-related patents (e.g., 3G, 4G, 5G, and other Standards-related telecom technologies). Some experience with patent litigation and Patent Trial and Appeal Board proceedings is preferred. All candidates should have excellent academic and professional credentials as well as highly developed analytical, communication and writing skills. Candidates must be a member of the New York Bar or eligible to waive in. Additional Information Crowell & Moring LLP offers a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package. The salary for this position may vary based on market data, an applicant’s skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
