  • Conduct confidential investigations of alleged corruption, fraud and misappropriation of public monies.
  • Develop investigative case plans and strategies.
  • Coordinate, prepare and conduct witness interviews.
  • Conduct legal research and draft memorandums.
  • Evaluate complaints received from the general public and other sources.
  • Prepare written reports summarizing investigative findings.
  • Draft subpoenas.
  • Serve as liaison for the Office of the State Comptroller with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies.
  • Collaborate with outside law enforcement to prepare an investigation for grand jury presentation or trial.
  • Work closely with other divisions within the Office of the State Comptroller.
  • Manage and prioritize active caseload and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Telecommuting:
