We are assisting them in their search for a Staff Attorney to join their Technology Transactions group. You will engage with complex legal issues in the technology, entertainment, and life sciences sectors while supporting a practice that handles some of the most sophisticated M&A and financing transactions in the market.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
2 years of experience at a major law firm with a focus on licensing/commercial contracts and M&A transactions. Experience with a variety of M&A and financing transactions, providing essential legal support, and document review. Expertise in preparing written summaries, and disclosure schedules, and maintaining and updating document databases. Ability to organize and track due diligence materials, managing information requests and responses efficiently. Strong computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint, iManage, or other document management software.
REQUIREMENTS
Top law school credentials with excellent academic performance. Active NY BAR membership or eligibility to waive in. Detail-oriented and demonstrated ability to think critically and strategically. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary:
$120,000 – $150,000 Healthcare, Life Insurance, Health Savings Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts, and Wellbeing A discretionary bonus for eligible employees may also be available based on performance
