We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AssociateAttorney with a focus on Trust, Estate and Elder Law. This is anexceptional opportunity for a talented and driven individual tojoin our reputable legal firm, where you will play a key role inproviding expert advice and legal services to our diverseclientele. As an integral part of our team, you will work closelywith clients on a range of matters including estate planning, trustadministration, wills, surrogates, and guardianship. This positionrequires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field,with a particular emphasis on Trust, Estate, and Elder Law.
Responsibilities:
As a Associate Attorney, your primaryresponsibilities will include: 1. Providing expert legal counsel toclients on matters relating to trust, estate, and elder law. 2.Drafting, reviewing, and executing a variety of legal documentsincluding wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health caredirectives. 3. Representing clients in court proceedings,mediations, and negotiations as required. 4. Conductingcomprehensive legal research to support case preparation andprovide accurate advice to clients. 5. Managing estateadministration processes, including probate and non-probatetransfers. 6. Advising clients on guardianship matters andrepresenting them in related court proceedings. 7. Collaboratingwith other attorneys in the firm to ensure a coordinated andefficient approach to client service. 8. Keeping abreast of changesin legislation and case law that may impact the firm’s clients.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Associate Attorneyposition, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2.Admission to the State Bar. 3. A minimum of 5 years of experiencein trust, estate, and elder law. 4. Proven experience in estateadministration, trusts, estates, guardianship, surrogate, andwills. 5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, withthe ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues. 6.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability tothink strategically and provide practical legal solutions. 7.Excellent research skills, with the ability to interpret and applycomplex legal principles. 8. High level of professionalism andethical standards. 9. Ability to manage a high caseload and workunder pressure to meet deadlines. 10.
