Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to oversee and manage the work of our paralegal team. This role involves ensuring task completion, maintaining high-quality legal work product, and enforcing case management procedures. The attorney will act as the primary legal supervisor for the paralegals, offering direction, reviewing performance, and identifying deficiencies in work product and workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day work performed by personal injury paralegals. Assign and delegate case tasks based on urgency, priority, and case deadlines. Ensure compliance with internal protocols and court requirements. Review demand packages, discovery responses, and filings for accuracy and legal sufficiency. Audit case management systems for pending tasks, missed deadlines, or bottlenecks. Provide instruction on case development, strategy, and documentation. Conduct quality control checks and implement corrective actions where needed. Interface with attorneys, adjusters, and clients when escalation or clarification is required. Lead periodic case status meetings and enforce follow-ups on outstanding items. Collaborate with firm management to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

J.D. from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice in New York. 10+ years experience in plaintiff-side personal injury law. Prior supervisory or managerial experience preferred. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Proficiency with case management software and litigation workflows.

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$140,000.00 – $175,000.00 per year
