Include intake and individual case work, litigation instate and federal courts, including appellate practice, andeducation and outreach efforts directed at community members andservice providers. The person hired will also be expected to adhereto program and case handling standards, funder requirements, thehighest professional standards, and be available as a resource tostaff and communities. Requirements Member in good standing of theNew York State Bar 1 plus years of legal experience, includinglitigation Understanding of the nature and dynamics of evictionExcellent people skills, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholdersCourt appearances Ability to work some outreach events on nightsand weekends Demonstrated commitment to serving persons who cannotafford an attorney is a plus
