Job Details Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Manage a litigation caseload involving civil rights and employmentdiscrimination defense Represent clients in state and federalcourts as well as administrative hearings Draft motions, pleadings,discovery responses, and legal memoranda Conduct depositions, oralarguments, and evidentiary hearings Perform legal research andanalyze case law Attend and manage client communications, strategymeetings, and case planning Handle some matters involving studentdisciplinary hearings and appeals Qualifications –

Needed:

J.D.from an accredited law school Admission to practice law in New YorkSuperior academic credentials Minimum 2 years of litigationexperience (employment discrimination, civil rights, or generallitigation preferred) Excellent writing and research skills Strongoral advocacy and courtroom presence Demonstrated interest orbackground in employment law, civil rights, or constitutionallitigation Former government attorneys encouraged to applyInterested in hearing more?
