Litigation Attorney Position Available In Westchester, New York

Litigation Attorney
The Law Office of Andrew M. Romano is seeking a skilled and motivated litigation associate with 3-5 years of experience to join our small, client-focused firm in Yonkers. We specialize in landlord-tenant, real estate law, and civil litigation, and proudly serve a diverse community in Westchester County. This is a full-time, in-person position with a Monday through Friday schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in court appearances, motion hearings, and trials, primarily in landlord-tenant, real estate, and civil matters.
Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
Conduct legal research and write memoranda to support litigation strategy.
Manage a caseload independently, while working closely with the principal attorney, Andrew M. Romano, Esq.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Supervise and coordinate with paralegal and support staff as needed.
Use CLIO and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) for case management and documentation.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in landlord-tenant or related civil practice in New York.
Admitted to practice law in the State of New York and in good standing.
Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with confidence in the courtroom.
Highly organized and self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
Commitment to client service and working with a diverse population.
Spanish-English bilingual proficiency is a strong plus.
Familiarity with CLIO is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive salary: $110,000 – $140,000, based on experience.
