Our client Fellerman & Ciarimboli PC is immediately hiring for an Employment and Labor Attorney to join their team. Position Overview The ideal candidate is an experienced self-starter skilled in helping employers and employees navigate the complexities of employment and labor law. Qualified candidates must be licensed in Pennsylvania, with 5+ years’ experience.
Responsibilities include:
Counsel employers on workplace law issues including complying with employment laws ensuring they are not in violation of regulations related to wages, benefits, discrimination, and other workplace related matters Counsel employees on their rights and responsibilities under the law, assisting them in understanding their options in cases of potential violations Develop strategies, draft pleadings, taking/defending depositions, and arguing motions Represent clients in lawsuits, negotiations and mediations, and administrative hearings Provide Human Resource support to employers including drafting employee handbooks and employment policies, drafting and negotiating employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements, restrictive covenants and severance agreements Perform in-depth legal research to support case strategies How to

Experience and Skills:
Key Qualifications:
Excellent communication, research and writing skills Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA) and PA State Bar Some portable business preferred Must be a confident self-starter and able to work independently
Experience:
Experience in traditional labor law and/or ERISA matters a plus Union experience a plus 5+ years of employment litigation experience including discrimination, harassment, wage & hour, and employment contract cases
