Salary:

$150,000 – $200,000 per year A bit aboutus: Our organization is seeking a dynamic and highly experiencedAttorney with a strong background in Corporate and Business law-specifically leaders Mergers & Acquisitions. The ideal candidatewill be responsible for providing legal advice and services to ourcorporation to ensure maximum protection of our legal rights. Thisposition will involve a significant amount of work on complexmergers, stock sales, asset sales, and joint venture transactions.

Responsibilities:

1. Draft, review, and negotiatecomplex legal documents, agreements, and contracts (includingmergers, stock sales, asset sales, and joint venture agreements).2. Provide expert legal support and advice to the executivemanagement team on all matters affecting the company. 3. Ensurecompliance with the internal policies and procedures of the companyand with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements. 4.Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementingcompany policies and procedures. 5. Liaise with and manage externalcounsel as required. 6. Participate in the formulation of generalmanagement policy as a member of the executive management team. 7.Keep abreast of relevant legal developments and changes in law andadvise management accordingly. 8. Represent the company in legalproceedings (administrative boards, court trials etc.), ifnecessary.

Job Details Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degreefrom an accredited law school. 2. A minimum of 5 years ofexperience as a corporate attorney, preferably within a corporatesetting or law firm. 3. Extensive experience with complex mergers,stock sales, asset sales, and joint venture transactions. 4.Admitted to the state bar and in good standing. 5. Excellentnegotiation and communication skills. 6. Strong analytical abilityand legal drafting skills. 7. Ability to work independently andmanage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. 8. Highdegree of professional ethics and integrity. 9. Sound judgement andability to analyze situations and information. 10. Proficientunderstanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality.
