Part-time Attorney Position Available In Beaufort, South Carolina

Part-time Attorney Hopeful Horizons 1212 Charles Street, Beaufort, SC 29902 Hopeful Horizons seeks a part-time attorney, 16 – 20 hours a week, flexible to accommodate court and other scheduling concerns. This position is in person, based in Beaufort, South Carolina, and requires court appearances in Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper County Family Courts. The attorney will work under the supervision of the Lead Attorney as part of a team providing holistic legal services to adult victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Qualified applicants must:

be a member of the SC Bar; have completed Rule 403 requirements; have family law experience; have good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; work and communicate effectively in a team environment; have sensitivity to issues related to domestic violence and sexual assault; have a non-judgmental attitude; have a valid driver’s license and good driving record; and pass background checks. Hourly rate of $45 – $50 per hour based on qualifications and experience. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
