Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a variety of complex business litigation matters, particularly in the construction industry.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents, including motions for summary judgment and motions to compel discovery.
- Manage all phases of litigation, from discovery through trial, including depositions, court appearances, and settlement negotiations.
- Advise and represent clients in various construction-related disputes, including breach of contract, construction defects, and other related claims.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to ensure comprehensive case preparation and strategy development.
- Maintain and develop client relationships, ensuring effective communication and trust.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar license in South Carolina.
- 3+ years of litigation experience, with a preference for those with a background in insurance defense.
- Strong knowledge of construction law, commercial litigation, and insurance defense principles.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
