Job Description
Gpac is working with a growing firm that is looking to add a Personal Injury Attorney. The ideal candidate will have excellent credentials, a minimum of 3 years of successful handling personal injury pre-litigation and an authentic passion for helping people. Prior experience settling cases for max value, using experts, research, & witness testimony is needed.
•Law firm open to defense attorneys as well, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to switch to plaintiff.

Job Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents
Negotiate suitable agreements and settle on the client’s behalf when appropriate
Represent the client at hearings, trials, mediations, depositions, and litigation

Qualifications:

Membership in the South Carolina State Bar Association and a state license to practice law are mandatory
3+ years of experience in personal injury litigation experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas. Superb drafting, research, negotiation, and communication skills are preferred
