Prosecutors get to travel throughout the state and handle a variety of cases; everything from drug cases to murders, hit and runs to human trafficking. You’ll have the opportunity to work with various law enforcement agencies, different defense bars, and appear before judges across the state. Primarily assigned to the General and Special Prosecution Unit of the Criminal Division, serving as an Assistant Attorney General.
Case Intake and Evaluation:
Assists in the beginning stages of a case being referred to and accepted by the office
Case Management and Progression:
Advances the case through the judicial system in an appropriate manner.
Case Disposition:
Seeks a just resolution in all cases.
Docket Management:
Handles their caseload and provides relevant information for reporting.
Miscellaneous Matters:
Handles miscellaneous matters assigned, including attending and conducting training.
