Salary:
$150,000 – $200,000per year A bit about us: We are seeking a seasoned and passionatePermanent Personal Injury Attorney to join our team. The idealcandidate will have a strong background in personal injury law,with a specific focus on civil litigation, car accidents,construction defects, premises liability, slip and fall, spinalinjury, and medical malpractice. This role requires a dynamicprofessional who can handle a high-volume case load from inceptionthrough trial preparation and trial. 1. Manage a high-volumecaseload of personal injury cases from inception through trialpreparation and trial. 2. Conduct thorough case investigations todetermine liability and damages. 3. Prepare and draft legaldocuments such as complaints, pleadings, discovery requests andresponses, motions, and other pre-trial documents. 4. Negotiatesettlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel. 5.Advocate for clients at depositions, mediations, arbitrations, andtrials. 6. Maintain constant communication with clients, providingthem with case updates and ensuring their needs are met. 7.Collaborate with legal support staff to ensure efficient casemanagement. 8. Stay updated on developments in personal injury lawand participate in professional development activities.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accreditedlaw school. 2. Must be an active member in good standing with theState Bar. 3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a PersonalInjury Attorney. 4. Proven experience in civil litigation, caraccidents, construction defects, premises liability, slip and fall,spinal injury, and medical malpractice. 5. Exceptional negotiationskills with the ability to resolve matters favorably. 6. Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focusedapproach. 7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with theability to think strategically. 8. Must be highly organized withthe ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously. 9. Proficientin legal research and writing. 10. Demonstrated ability to takecases to trial. 11. Must have a strong work ethic, beself-motivated and work well under pressure. 12. A commitment toupholding the highest ethical and professional standards.
