Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Assist with trial preparation and attend court hearings
• Interview clients and witnesses to gather relevant information
• Collaborate with other attorneys to develop case strategies
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina; North Carolina law license preferable, but not required
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the state bar association
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in legal research tools and software
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
